Thursday 6th April

Louis returns, 6.56am

Friday 7th April

Iris returns, 9.11am

Midas shows up, 10.51am. Mounts Louis on nest and later on Owl pole where Louis has fish

Saturday 15th April

Iris is seen to have a swollen neck and feathers missing on right side this morning, redness and oozing were noted later in the day. She had returned to the nest looking scared around midnight last night and had roosted on the nest support all night

Wednesday 26th April

Egg #1 laid 11.40am

Saturday 29th April

Egg #2 laid 5.58am

Tuesday 2nd May

Egg #3 laid 6.36am

Friday 12th May

Louis was noticed to have a bleeding injury under his left wing around 6.18pm. As with Iris, not known how he came by his injury but it does not seem to have impaired him in any way. Iris's injuries appear to have healed ok now

Sunday 14th May

Louis not seen since around 8am yesterday . Finally shows up at 12.06pm today with half a fish for Iris

Saturday 3rd June

Egg #1 hatches, 8.56am (37 days 21 hrs)

Monday 5th June

Egg #2 hatches c3.38am (36 days 22 hrs)

Tuesday 6th June

Chick #1 crawls out from under Iris in the early hours, makes its way to the edge of the nest where it subsequently dies

Wednesday 7th June

Egg #3 hatches c11.41am (36 days 5 hrs)

Saturday 10th June

Egg #4 hatches c10.28am (36 days 5 hrs)

Sunday 18th June

Extremely difficult fishing conditions caused by bad weather, plus a very aggressive male osprey intruder, has resulted in all three remaining chicks succumbing to starvation over the last few days, with the largest chick dying this morning
