Dyfi Ospreys   -   Monty

      Profile:

      Monty is unringed. He first appeared at Cors Dyfi in 2008 after a nest platform was
      erected in Autumn 2007 but did not breed until 2011.

      To date (2018) Monty has fledged nineteen chicks - four with his first mate Nora (Rutland born, ringed
      White 03, right leg) in 2011 and 2012, twelve with second mate Glesni (also Rutland
      born, niece of Nora. Ringed Blue 12, right leg) after Nora failed to return in 2013, and six with third
      mate, Telyn (Blue 3J another Rutland born female) since 2018 after Glesni failed to return.
