Sunday 13th April

Egg #1 laid, 3.57pm

Monday 14th April

Aran tries to defend his nest but Teifi is proving tenacious and continues to return and mate with Elen. Egg has variously been incubated, moved during Aran's nest-cupping, buried by Elen, uncovered and reburied during all the kerfuffle

Wednesday 16th April

No sign of Teifi but Aran has chased off other intruders, including one of his and Mrs G's last brood from 2022, Blue 498, who was also seen in the valley in May, 2024

Egg #2 laid, 9.14pm (egg #1 remains buried)

Friday 18th April

Teifi reappeared early this morning and mated with Elen. Ospreys seen chasing over fields locally so seems Aran is busy fending off intruders. Elen had not eaten for past couple of days until Teifi brought her two fish. One this afternoon and another early evening
